Alicia is an entrepreneur and business leader with a proven track record in founding, launching and growing successful companies. As cofounder and CEO of Open Angler, she leads the company in carrying out the vision to transform the fishing charter industry by providing guides and referral partners with an easy-to-use online reservation system and free, time-saving business management tools.

Prior to Open Angler, Alicia founded and grew Table Maestro, a centralized reservation system that assisted restaurants in managing bookings and optimizing front-of-house operations. The company, which was sold to OpenTable just 4 years after launch, was dedicated to streamlining reservation management and increasing revenue for independent business owners.

Alicia is passionate about seeing business ideas actualized and loves growing teams of inspired individuals who have just as much energy and enthusiasm as she does. She believes that every day is an opportunity to bring value to customers, employees, investors and the community.  She spends her free time on the water in the Charleston, S.C. area boating and fishing.

The Life Cycle of a Trip Request

7/27/17
Now that you've accepted a booking request from OpenAngler.com, here's what happens next: Once you accept a request, the customer has up to 48 hours prior to the departure date to enter payment and confirm the booking. If no payment is received at that time, the trip request will automatically expire. As the trip provider, however, you have the ability to cancel a booking which is still pending payment from the customer at any time. This allows you to accept and confirm trip requests from other customers and avoid double-booking. Read More
