It's completely free to create a listing on Open Angler. Click the orange 'List a Trip' button on the top right of any page on the site. This will take you to a form where you can enter initial details. You can always change any of these details later. Your listing won't go live until you're completely ready, so go ahead and click 'Continue' to keep entering information. Once all information is entered, check 'Listing Active' and 'Save'. Now your trip is live!
It is up to you to decide how much you charge for your trip. You can set different prices for ½ day, full day, and multi-day trips. You can choose to add optional or required fees and decided weather to collect a deposit or charge for the trip in full. To edit pricing, select 'My Listings' from the horizontal menu bar located in your dashboard, choose a listing you want to edit, click on the 'Edit' tab, and select 'Pricing' from the left sidebar.

Titles & Descriptions
A great title and description are essential; they serve as an advertisement for your listing! Make sure your title is descriptive and clearly written. Stay concise with your title: people will lose interest after 10 words or so. Misspellings and grammatical errors are also turn-offs. Descriptions, on the other hand, should be very detailed. They should give your prospective clients a sense of what to expect.
Use the boat policies section to lay out expectations for your trip. When do guests need to arrive? Is the trip catch and release? Do you allow children? This is the place to spell out guidelines so that your clients can understand what is expected of them before booking.
Great photographs are the best way for prospective clients to discover your trip. Photos are crucial for clients in deciding whether they want to book or not. So make sure yours are clear, in focus, and representative of what they get when they book with you.
Your profile is the place where prospective clients get to know you or your company. Upload a picture that shows off your personality, highlights your boat, or shows off your accomplishments. Fill out a detailed profile of yourself, including your skill set, types of fish you specialize in, tournaments you’ve won, your service philosophy. This will help guests learn more about you.
